After an interesting autumn with COVID we are now having a mild winter and not much skiing. I think we can safetly say that we are having an early spring and not a false spring. but it is dry. I guess we will still get a winter blast. Due to covid none of our European guests can come at present. We are looking to welcome New Zealanders who would like to explore Canterbury and the Lake Coleridge, Rakaia Gorge area. Ida Downs is central to lots of wonderful areas to visit.
We can provide plenty of local knowledge, a warm welcoming home for you to relax in, home cooked meals and a log fire to enjoy. Vist the Lake Coleridge website to see all the activities availabe, all only one hour from Christchurch.
Every winter we are usually 4×4 driving in Australia, but have had this winter at home with this years trip to Cape York and the Simpson desert on hold until June/July next year. Hopefully our world has settled down to a new normal by then.
